Gerald and his wife of seven years, Carol, live in the upscale Holmby Hills section of Los Angeles. They are an attractive, solidly upper-middle class couple in their thirties, and Gerald usually is out of town on business for a few days a week.
They don’t realize how deep a rut they are in, sexually speaking, until something happens to break their dull routine Carol is selected, by luck of the draw, to go into a porn shop and buy a huge dildo as a gag gift for the organizer of the neighborhood book discussion group of which she is a member. While on this slightly racy, out of the ordinary errand, she chances to meet Skip, a handsome young rogue whose father owns the porn shop she visits, plus numerous others in the area.
Skip, who is a junior at USC, is fun, outgoing, and bold. He gives Carol some free DVDs, a very large vibrator, and his cell phone number with an invitation to call him, so the two of them can get together and she can tell him how she liked his gifts. Giving in to temptation, Carol watches the naughty films while utilizing the vibrator while Gerald is on one of his out of town trips.
She tells her husband all about her little adventure and, much to her shock; he encourages her to see Skip again the next time he is on a trip, and then to tell him every detail of their night together! Will she do that?

In his newest book C. K. Ralston introduces us to a rather modest couple , Carol and Gerald Findley . She's twenty-nine and he's mid thirties .They are living well thanks to Gerald being a real estate investor , but with the job comes traveling away from home several days a week , leaving her bored . To fill in the time she has joined a book club that meet twice a week . It is this club that will change Carol's life around as their president's birthday is coming up and Caro; is asked to venture into a porn shop and by a gag gift for her . Once inside it she meets handsome and young Skip , a rich college kid , brazen enough to supply her with DVD's , a large black self enjoying device , another one molded close to his junk , and his card with his cell number on it . He tells her to call him and let him know how it all went . She informs Herald and is surprised that he isn't shocked . The following week when leaving once again , he informs her of his "" Hot Wife " fantasy and tells her to set up a date with Ship , but to tell him all about it when he gets home . This was a great story to read though I found that it was a little surprising and how quickly it moved. The story moves along pretty evenly and it had no real big surprises I just wish that we had bumpec into some cool scares or something that would have made Carol sort of think back on what she was doing. Maybe have some doubts because she seemed to be too easily available to anybody who wanted her. I like that it started in an adult book store with toys and videos, I sort or hoped that they would have revisited the store or another like it. There was no real seduction in the book either, but that is a personal preference. Hot sex and good of it! 4 out of 5!
Gerald and Carol, while in bed, play fantasy games about her being a slut.
Her imagination is whetted when, one day, she goes to a porn store to get a dildo as a gag gift for a friend. A friendly clerk cajoles her into watching some videos in a booth, and she’s stunned by what she sees. Taking more porn home, and having a couple of solitary days with her husband on a trip, she nearly gets addicted to it.
She nearly attacks Gerald when he returns, and he loves the newer and more sensual her. He encourages her to see the young porn store clerk while he’s gone.
Gerald is reduced to a mass of quivering jello listening to Carol’s lubricious recaps of what follows — with Skip, his black roomie Jeff, and Jeff’s girlfriend Tatiana, who introduces Carol to the joys of girl-girl sex one night during a wild foursome.
The wild and rich Russian girl takes Carol back to her own place to initiate her into what it really means to love another woman. And she can’t wait to meet Gerald. They make a smoking hot video guaranteed to blow his mind and obliterate any objections he might have.
The book has a genuine feel to it. I’ve been reading Ralston’s swinger novels lately, and our female protagonist always finds instantly she’s the hottest woman in the world, the belle of the swing party on her first visit. It’s a bit over the top. This feels more realistic, as Carol, with her husband’s consent, takes it a step at a time.
Story line to sell books only, not the quality of book I'm used to from C.K.. Just couldn't help adding the IR factor. Not from that demographic.
Would like that identified in the story info somewhere.
Wow! Where to begin? Certainly a hot book a "Hotwife" book. Nonstop action and well described. I can't think of a single sexual act you did not cover. Wait no midgets or circus clowns, but everything else. Skip starts out being a really nice guy but his attitude seems to change when he's around Jeff. Example the use of certain derogatory words associated with women. I personally find it unnecessary and does not add anything to a story. But that's just me. A minor issue to a very hot book!
